Mongolian Double Voices Combined “Chao Lin Dao” under the Concepts of Acoustic Ecology
Abstract: In Mongolian conception of sounding, the double voices combined “Chao Lin Dao” is one of the Chao Er music, which has an analogy relationship with “Chao Ri Ya” (echo), this kind of cognitive “with the sound onomatopoeia” formed Mongolian’s sound sense of place to Chao Lin Dao. And meanwhile, the Xilin Gol League Mongolian has a vivid metaphor for the special sounding modal of “Chao Er” low voice. The harmony and unity of music with nature sounds could be showed in musical culture of many national minorities in Central Asia, which constituted a totally self-contained acoustic ecology system, it also become a topic beyond the edge of the far-reaching nationality and areas.
